Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho (1960) was on TMC tonight, and it was the first time I had seen the opening titles done by Saul Bass. Bass labored to produce stuff we can now do in 5 minutes with Flash or Aftereffects...and without him we might not even be creating kinetic typography.
