Hi All!
Welcome to your first week in the GRD program! I know applying was a stressful process, but you made it though...good job. This is the blog where you'll post your links and commentary on multimedia and graphic design throughout the semester. You can post links to tutorials or articles (about graphic design, multimedia theory, new technologies, infovis, usability, information architecture, professional practices, etc.). It is very open-ended, so have fun and give us all some interesting food for thought. Post regularly!

To start with, here's a cool Flash application that one of my classes discussed while working on my Masters. It's strong and engaging information visualization. Think of all the discussions it can trigger...look at everything it represents. That's a lot of data!
We won't get this detailed in our Flash development, but it is still fun to play with.
