Happy New Year, Seniors!

I guess this will be your last semester for the majority of you! It would have been nice to have one more week of vacation, but we'll be all right. ;) We'll definitely have a short class tomorrow, but we'll be starting our first Flash project this Thursday!

To start our multimedia journey:

Technology and media timeline from 1969 - 2008...an interesting progression.

Also, I recommend that you read "Weaving the Web" by Tim Berners Lee, typically considered to be the father of our world wide web. His website, the W3C (the World Wide Web Consortium) makes available optimal usability best practices and standards for web design. I definitely enjoy making websites usable and attractive (which you will do with your own site), but typically websites that adhere to the W3C's standards are not the most beautiful sites ever...however, they can call themselves W3C compliant, which carries some weight.
